I have just graduated with my Masters degree due partially to using the sound librarys I purchased from this site a couple of years ago. If it wasn't for this sight and the libraries within, I would have had a much harder time developing my real-time acoustic source localizer which was part of my thesis. I recently purchased (pre-registered) the entire DX9 library with my employer's consent (Vera). I can't wait to play around with it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but I am currently employed at a research facility and I KNOW these libraries will come in handy for something.
