Re: Is the current tdx library (v 1.70) capable of doing advanced 3D?

Yes, as far as we can determine, you can do everything available in the MadOnion demos using the TDx_Library, just with as little as 1% of normal effort... RAD DirectX remember...

One of the MadOnion demos is written using DirectX 7.0a (and we assume Visual C++) and the other is written using DirectX 9.0c (and we assume again, Visual C++)...

Using the TDx_Library, these same advanced capabilities are available to you, it's just all a hell of a lot easier, since you benefit from the advanced BCB-style RAD programming capabilities, and at the same time you benefit a hell of a lot from the advanced wrapping architectures used by the TDx_Library... the absolute simplification of everything DirectX related...

Why don't you try the FREE v1.42 downloads for yourself, and see what you can do with Draw,Sound and Input... and see if you are comfortable with the RAD DirectX paradigm, and then register the 3d libraries and experiment with them yourself...
