    You can produce 3d sound using the TDx_Sound_Library v1.00 thru to v1.80.

    At this point in time, the TDx9_Sound_Library does not work.

    This means you cannot use the DirectX 9 >SDK< for programming 3d sounds, and must instead use the DirectX 7 >SDK< to create your sounds using BCB and the TDx_Sound_Library.

    Remember, you still run DirectX 9 RUNTIME on your pc, so you are actually using the latest and greatest sound hardware, drivers, etc... it's just that some additional functionality will not be available... the core functionality does indeed exist in DirectX 7.

    And, just so you know... i still prefer DirectX 7 to DirectX 9....
