Guaranteed, there are at least 12,000++ copies of my Software downloaded from this website... Since other people can also distribute my Software for FREE, there are probably many thousands more copies in use... Far as I can determine, there should be at least 30,000+ copies of my Software on HDD's somewhere... And, at least 10,000++ people visit my website each month... downloading thousands of copies of my Software... Unfortunately, there are only 300 actual real-world, real-paid Registered Users, compared to all these many thousands of "free users"... also known as "bludgers"... "brain-dead monkeys"... "stupid fools"... :) Please realize that BCB-Tools.com costs REAL-WORLD money to run and maintain. ... In reality, I have not made any money from BCB-Tools.com for at least 5 years... Earning less than US$1000 a year from Registrations... In fact, I have been steadily losing $5000 per year for the past 10 years... since i do not include the wages I should be earning for all my work... I have been waiting many months, years even, for a single person to pay me a single registration. Yet, I have not been paid a cent for many years - even though I have continued to work and pay for this website. ... What exactly have I done? Not easy. Especially when i do NOT get paid money for it, and when it actually costs me money to make it all happen... ... Look, it's all there, laid out for you. Couldn't be easier, or more straightforward... ... I have great plans to create more, improved, versions of the TDx_Library... v1.90 and better, for BCBx and DirectX 7 with some bugfixes where required to make it work as perfect as can be, complete with many more demos, tutorials and example application templates. Added to that, I have great plans to complete the TDx9_Library v1.00, DirectX 9 for Windows XP, XBox, Vista, etc... complete with many demos, tutorials, and example application templates. I also have plans to release the BCB_Code_Generator, as soon as possible. BUT I HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM.... All I need is some MONEY (cash) and I could be developing heaps and heaps more software. All I need is some GRAPHICS (icons) and I could be developing heaps and heaps more software. The entire time I have been involved with BCB-Tools, all 10+ years, I have given away my tools for FREE, while also trying to charge people money, to no avail. Thousands and thousands of copies of MY software have been downloaded, and the entire time I have been hoping beyond hope that people would find my tools useful and ultimately REGISTER as a way of rewarding me for all my years of seriously difficult development, independendly working to make Borland C++ Builder and DirectX better than Borland or Microsoft ever imagined. ... I've worked very hard. For 10+ very long and difficult years i've worked very hard. Day in, day out, for 10+ years, i've worked on this project. 7 days a week, 18 hours a day, 365 days a year, for at least 7 straight years... Then another 3 more years of 60-100 hour weeks just working on more stuff... FOR NO MONEY Nowadays, I simply cannot be bothered working on this any more. I have now worked on this project for at least 10+ very long years... at my own personal cost... I have lost over US$2 million while developing these tools for massively INSIGNIFICANT financial return... I could quite literally have been earning much more money doing other things with my time... like a job... Maybe... think about it... with my advanced coding skills i could get a job @ US$120,000++ per year... Maybe I should be doing that instead of working for YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS for LITERALLY NOTHING.... Nobody forced me to create the TDx_Library, nobody made me write such incredible tools, nobody forced me to give away all the fruits of our labours for FREE, but i did it so that the entire Borland C++ Builder community could experience the difference DirectX for Borland C++ Builder makes. And i've paid for all the hard work, both professionally and personally... Please note that i didn't do it out of the goodness of my heart... It's not much fun being repeatedly gang-raped by thousands of people who steal the results of your seriously hard-work day-in, day-out, for years at a time... Now, you may not realize it, considering the professional capabilities of our tools and this website, but i am VERY poor and quite literally disabled... I am mentally ill, schizophrenic, and I have the certificates to prove it... ;) Unfortunately, as part of my illness, sometimes I must stay in a psychiatric hospital for awhile, and when this happens, I am quite simply unable to do my work, or respond to my website or emails... please be patient if you are ever inconvenienced. ... I live in Australia... a "rich" country... where a wage of AUS$60,000 is considered the "average man's wage"... I live on about 25% of average weekly wages in our country... on a Disability Support Pension... "I Live On An Income Far Far Far Below the Poverty Line In My Country..." "the Poverty Line says that you need at least AUS$20,000, 5 years ago, to live sustainably in my Country." My Income is About AUS$15,000 per year... less AUS$5,000 spent keeping BCB-Tools.com alive and growing... My Income is About US$12,000 per year... less US$4,000 spent keeping BCB-Tools.com alive and growing... I earn Barely enough to feed myself and pay the bills, definately not enough to do anything real, like create a viable software company, escape poverty, buy necessities, replace things when they break down, buy mini-luxuries once in a while, and so on... FOR EXAMPLE: IF MY COMPUTER STOPS WORKING, I CANNOT AFFORD TO REPLACE IT I am stuck in a poor-house, paying rent, using barely adequate hardware and software, doing all i can to make our development lives better, but i have no "real" money to do anything other than sit on my computers all day everyday working and working and working and i never leave my house, simply because i cannot afford to do so... I am actually trying to earn some money so i can escape poverty, eventually grow a successful company and create many more powerful tools for Borland C++ Builder, Delphi, Microsoft, etc. Ultimately, I want to use the money earned from this website to create many, many more cutting-edge software development tools and other projects, as well as ultimately funding real-world research into a real-world cure for death. Unfortunately, practically nobody has ever registered my Software, and i have earnt basically ZERO money from registrations for 10 long years - no real wages, no real income, nothing - and we are now at the point in history whereby this website and projects will live or die depending on commercial-reality considerations. We have continued to pour all our time, skills and money into this venture, until we are where we are now, virtually bankrupt, with no more money to pour into keeping the business alive. All because nobody can be bothered to register... Register Now! ... At least 300-1000 people visit and use our website every day, and yet no-one ever registers... But, as soon as we offer our tools for FREE, thousands upon thousands of people sign-up and download them... NOTE: of all these thousands of FREE users, less than 1% actually bother to register and say "thanks" for all the hard work... Register Now! ... That's bloody unfair... And Sooooooo Stoopid... Nowadays I continue to work around the clock, pathetically poor, struggling along with the dream that if I can keep on working as much as possible, and create lots of new stuff, then maybe a few of the thousands of people who download for FREE and rape me of my intellectual property will actually change their minds and pay me a little real-world money to continue my solo development efforts. Over 10,000++ people have visited our website, actively signed-up for downloads and supplied us with their email address, and then they have downloaded our older tools for FREE, and received FREE email support as well. Note: March 2007. 600-800 people were downloading our tools for FREE each month. Note: December 2007. 700+ people downloaded the TDx_Library v1.80 for FREE in the first 48 hours. ... But NONE (less than 1%) of these many thousands of people have ever come back and actually "Registered", and actually paid us something for all our hard work, money and time we have invested in this project... Register Now! 1000+ downloads in the last 12 months, practically ZERO sales in the last 12 months. 8000++ downloads in the last 5 years, practically ZERO sales in the last 8 years. (Plus all the pirated copies out there) Minimum of US$200,000 in lost revenue in the last year, millions and millions of dollars quite literally lost over the course of the project... ...easily enough for us to escape poverty and build a viable business...
