    PLAY CURSOR

    [ TDx_Sound_Library ]     [ next: Primary Buffer ]     [ prev: Outside Sound Cone ]

Position cursors, expressed as a byte offset, are maintained on sound and capture buffers indicating where it is safe to write or read data and the data currently being played or captured.
The play cursor is used in sound buffers, moving as a sound is played and indicating the next byte of sound data to be played.
When a buffer is stopped, the play cursor will remain in its current position and play will resume from there when the buffer is started again.
